Completely Portable single stage, 100 joule(ELECTRICAL ENERGY), bolt action, 6 round mag soon to be dual stage, 200 joule(again ELECTRICAL ENERGY) I've had a few ask how I built this gun so rather than answer everyone's questions individually I'll just answer it here. I started with a 12 volt SLA (sealed lead acid) battery that I found online somewhere. That powers a power inverter that you would normally use in a car to get 120 volts ac. That powers a voltage multiplier ( google it to find out what that is if you don't know that's how I found out). And that puts out the 385 to 400 volts to charge the caps. The capacitor bank is made of 3 electrolytic Caps that have a 450 v. capacity rating and I believe are 470uF each. The box in between the barrel and PVC pipe are 2 solid state relays wired in parallel to fire the coil. There is another solid state relay that turns the charging on and off. the Coil is made from 2 strands of 22awg magnet wire( it was what i had next time I think I'll use 1 strand of 18awg). From what I've found so far the size of the coil depends on the size of the bullet and cap bank. Mine is a little bit longer than the bullet and about 1" in diameter. I don't think mine is quiet right but I'm still working on it. There is also 4 hi cap diodes wire anti-parallel to the coil. There has always been confusion when it comes to trailer weights. I can't begin to tell you how many times I have seen citizen read the manufacturers weight label on the surface of the trailer or fifth wheel and assume that they can't tow it. The data plate on the surface gives you the Gross vehicle Weight Rating (Gvwr). This is not the actual weight of the trailer; it is the maximum number of weight that the trailers axles, brakes, tires and other components can support. The trailer might weigh 5,000 pounds, but the Gvwr may be 7,000 pounds. This means that you could add 2,000 pounds of weight to the trailer before you reach the Gvwr. You need to consider how much weight you will add to the trailer when you are calculating this number. You never want to tow a trailer that exceeds the Gvwr. The components on the trailer are not designed to exceed the Gvwr and it can be highly dangerous, or fatal.
Any manufacturer that is a member of the Recreation vehicle business association (Rvia) is required to have a weight rating label inside the trailer that will give you more weight information. Look for it on the back of a cabinet or closet door. It will supply information on the Gross vehicle Weight Rating (Gvwr), the Unloaded vehicle Weight (Uvw) or Dry Weight (Dw), which it is commonly referred to, the weight of the fresh water tank and Lp gas when full, and the Cargo Carrying Capacity (Ccc) for the trailer.

The Uvw is the actual weight of the trailer as man-made at the factory. You also want to find out if this weight includes options on the trailer. When a dealer orders a trailer they list the options they want on it. These options include, but are not minuscule to, the roof air conditioner, awnings, stabilizer jacks, and a spare tire. You can see how quickly weight can add up on the trailer.

Be specific when you look at the weights in the manufacturers brochures. In most cases these weights are for the base model trailer without options, and depending on what they consider to be options the weight can change drastically. It is not uncommon to see a brochure weight of 5,000 pounds, but the actual weight of the trailer is 5,700 pounds or more. 700 pounds can make a big difference when your tow vehicle is on the border of its maximum tow rating.

Ductless split air conditioning units are the very best thing for some situations. Of policy they can be installed in the place of most any central air unit. They also are a very good alternative to window air conditioning units. I will explore the use of these units more intimately and look at how they can be used effectively.
One of the many problems encountered by the expert is when they are asked to install central air in an older home that was never designed with air conditioning as even a possibility. The walls may be very thick stone. Often they have very small or no insulation. The floor structures may be rough cut lumber. The joists spacing may be random.

If you have a home or building that falls into one of these categories you may want to explore installing a ductless airconditioner. This type of airconditioner can be installed in almost any home or building. The small indoor unit can be attached to the wall with a few screws. Most of the units only want that a three inch hole be bored through the surface wall. In new installations the units can be settled on inside walls with some fore plan and planning. For premise in older homes or homes that are already built you will want to plan the units to be on the surface walls.
The outdoor condenser units can be settled up to one hundred feet away from the indoor units. One outdoor unit can be used for many indoor units. Up to four indoor units can be attached to the same outdoor condenser. Some very developed electronics will operate the operation of the condenser and compressor to contribute the refrigerant to the indoor air handler units that are running at the time. With changeable speed technology the compressor and the condenser fan will only run as fast as needed. This technology has come to be very sufficient in the last few years. You do not have to give up any efficiency with these ductless split units.
Another advantage to these mini split airconditioners is that they can be controlled to run only in the rooms that you as a matter of fact need air conditioning in. If you are not going to be in a room you can shut down the unit. The units also have timers that can be set to turn the air conditioning on or off at preset times. If you are not going to be home all day the air conditioning can be setback or turned off.
The timer will turn on the air conditioning so that you return to a cool house. Central air conditioning is very hard to zone effectively. Also with large central air conditioning systems the outdoor compressor will be running at full capacity even though only a few rooms may be calling for cooling. There are some central air conditioning systems that are do some staging and changeable speed technology. These are not as sufficient or as sufficient as the ductless split technology.
Ductless split heat pumps are other great idea to look at. For a few dollars more you can also very as a matter of fact have heat from your air conditioning mini split. Then especially in the mild spring and fall weather you can have some very sufficient heat with out beginning up that big monster of a furnace or boiler in the basement. In southern climates the heat pump version of the ductless split theory may contribute enough heat year around.
Ductless split air conditioning is surely something that can solve many problems for some homeowners. Add to that the many advantages of these units and you will find that they are worth every penny that you will spend into them. As with any project like this make sure that you screen your contractor. These units are not for do it yourself people. There are many things that need to be done correctly for these units to work properly and efficiently. A refrigeration license is also required to install these airconditioners.
By doing a small explore and hiring the right person you will enjoy many years of trouble free aid from your new ductless mini split system.

If you live in a less dry atmosphere - mean or above mean humidity - an volatile airconditioner will just make you miserable, since humidity is a big part of why it feels so hot. So you'll want a condenser-based portableairconditioner, which works like most window airconditioners, with a compressor, a refrigerant fluid, and condenser coils, and which draws moisture out of the room rather than introducing extra moisture. Condenser-based portableairconditioners have two hoses that join together to a window vent to the outside; one draws in air from the outside, and the other exhausts that same air out, along with some of the heat and humidity from the room.
Condenser-based portableairconditioners don't always vent the humidity to the outside; some store it in a basin inside the unit, and you have to remember to empty it every day or so, or the unit shuts off. Some units are hybrid units with both a basin and the evaporation feature, and they'll evaporate the condensed water to the covering when the basin becomes full, but they operate less efficiently when they have to evaporate the water, since the evaporation uses up extra energy.
Portableairconditioners do not have power Star ratings so it is hard to know whether you are getting an productive one. Make sure you buy the most productive unit you can find for the Btu yield you need. Don't buy an over-capacity unit (don't buy a 12,000 Btu unit to cool a single, concluded room) because you'll just make the unit cycle on and off very frequently, which means it will be much less productive than it would usually be, and you may damage the unit.
Some portableairconditioners are positively combined airconditioner / heat pump units, which means that you can use them to heat a room while cooler weather (but not positively cold weather, as they will be less productive than a quarterly galvanic heater). I'd advise these units if you want an uncostly source of heat in the shoulder season, or in warm areas where winters are very mild (e.g. Florida, South Carolina).
Look for an Eer rating of about 10.7 for any portableairconditioner under 20,000 Btu. For heat pump units you can positively find higher Eer ratings of up to 14.4 so a combined portableairconditioner and heat pump may be the best way to keep your rooms cool in summer, as well as stay toasty warm when the thermometer dips.
